Mission & Impact

Our mission in the Holy Land

To preserve, honor and pass on the spiritual heritage of Jerusalem and its surroundings.

Jubilee supports concrete projects in the heart of the Holy Land. Each initiative aims to protect a sacred heritage and to serve those who live there. Our approach prioritizes partnership with local communities, respecting their history and faith, for a lasting and authentic impact.

Our mission in the Holy Land

The Old City of Jerusalem

Supporting the preservation of the sacred heart of the Old City, where biblical history comes alive. The Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa, the Temple Mount — these places laden with memory require constant upkeep and protection against the ravages of time. Jubilee contributes to the conservation of this unique world heritage, to honor and protect its legacy for future generations.

Jerusalem surroundings

Supporting the preservation of the ancient lands and biblical sites surrounding the Holy City. Bethlehem, the Mount of Olives, Ein Karem, the Kidron Valley — these places mentioned in Scripture are threatened by urbanization and time. Our action aims to safeguard their integrity and keep alive the connection between the land and the Word.

The baptismal site of Qasr al-Yahud

Preserving and enhancing the revered baptismal site on the Jordan River, a major pilgrimage destination. It was on the banks of this river that John the Baptist baptized Jesus, marking the beginning of his public ministry. By improving its preservation and accessibility, we enable pilgrims from around the world to gather at this foundational site of the Christian faith, in dignified and respectful conditions.

"Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion." — Psalm 48:2
